The Rustler Roundup rodeo, hosted by Central Wyoming College, brought high energy and fierce competition to Riverton this past weekend.

The Sheridan College Generals Rodeo Teams showcased standout performances from student-athletes across multiple events.

The men’s team clinched an impressive 2nd place overall, while the women’s team secured 7th place, marking a successful showing for both squads, according to SC Head Coach, Bobby Harris.

“The team is working hard and holding up against tough competition. I’m very proud of how our students step up and show their skills, which we have been working on in practice every day,” said Coach Harris. “Jake Schlattmann won his first college rodeo this weekend and we couldn’t be more proud of him. Tyon Arneson and Emmett Sortum won the Team Roping as first-year freshman, that’s a pretty big feat as well.”
