Four Sheridan County Coaches Named Coach Of The Year For Spring 2026
It’s the athletes that win the games, events, and championships, but the coaches have something to do with it.
Taylor Kelting (4A Boys Track and Field) of Sheridan, and Kirk McLaughlin (2A Boys and Girls Track and Field) of Big Horn, have been named Coaches of the Year for the Spring 2026 sports season, by the Wyoming Coaches Association.
The Broncs 3-peated as 4A State Champs and made it 5 of the last 6.
The Rams 4-peated as 2A State Champs, while the Lady Rams won their first 2A State Title since 2016.
Cody Ball of Big Horn was named one of 2 Assistant Coaches of the Year in Track and Field and Alli Nikont of BH was named Junior High/Middle School Coach of the Year in T&F.
