Sheridan/Johnson County Cowboys And Cowgirls Qualify For 2026 HSNFR

The dust has settled and cowboys and cowgirls now know who gets to compete in next month’s High School National Finals Rodeo.

The Wyoming High School season concluded this past weekend at the State Finals Rodeo in Buffalo.

Those who finished in the top 4 in the end of the season standings in their respective event, get to compete at the High School NFR. 

Qualifiers for the 2026 HSNFR:

Karly Davis – Buffalo (Barrel Racing)

Bleu Butler – Big Horn (Breakaway Roping and Goat Tying)

Riggin Pearce – Sheridan (Bull Riding)

Teague Duncan – Clearmont (Saddle Bronc)

Kade Fraley – Sheridan (Saddle Bronc)

Nathan Peterson – Buffalo (Boys Cutting)

Karly Peterson – Buffalo (Girls Cutting)

Heston Crozier – Buffalo (Trap Shooting)

The High School NFR is scheduled for the week of July 19th through the 25th in Lincoln, Nebraska.
