Sheridan HS Volleyball State Tournament 2025: The Wyoming High School Volleyball season will conclude this weekend as 32 teams will compete for one of 4 state championships in Casper.
For the second year in a row, Sheridan will be one of those teams, as the Lady Broncs will try to improve upon last year’s 3rd place finish.
Head Coach Danielle Sullivan says last year the team was excited to play for the simple reason that it was the first time in 8 years that Sheridan made it to the state tournament.
This time around, the excitement far surpasses last year’s.
The Lady Broncs matchup with Green River in the first round tomorrow, starting at 2:30pm.
The 2 teams played each other at the beginning of the season, and GR has a win against defending 4A champ Kelly Walsh.
Senior Korah Condos says going up against the Lady Wolves is the type of first round opponent that Sheridan wants to play.
The Lady Broncs have won the state title only 1 time in school history.
It happened back in 2011.
Tongue River/Big Horn HS Volleyball State Tournament 2025: In the 2A bracket, Tongue River and Big Horn will play back-to-back of each other in the first round.
The Lady Eagles play first at 2:30pm vs. Big Piney, while the Lady Rams are next at 4:30 vs. Rocky Mountain.
If both teams win, they will not face each other in the semi-finals, because they are on opposite sides of the bracket.
BH is attempting to 3-peat as champs, and win their 4th state title in 5 years.
TR hasn’t won it all since they 4-peated between 1993 and 1996.

University of Wyoming Women’s Basketball: The Wyoming Cowgirls lost their season opening game last night at home vs. Saint Mary’s 56-47.
The ladies had a 19-12 lead after 1 quarter, but then it took them 2 quarters plus to score the next 19 points as they shot 34% for the game and were only 3 of 17 on their 3-point tries.
Saint Mary’s bench ended up outscoring UW 38-16.
