Sheridan HS Basketball: Things are about to get real for the Sheridan High School Basketball teams.
4A East Conference play starts this weekend, and up first are home games vs. Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central.
East eliminated the Broncs in last year’s regional tournament, and Central is the defending 4A State Champs.
Head Coach Jeff Martini says both teams from Cheyenne could be a bit different compared to what Sheridan has faced in the past.
Last year at the Regional Tournament, when the Lady Broncs defeated Cheyenne East, it marked the first time in 10 years that they had defeated the Lady Thunderbirds.
As for Cheyenne Central, that was the only Wyoming 4A team that Sheridan did not beat last year.
Head Coach Ryan Sullivan describes what the opposition could bring to the table.
Home games are scheduled to tip off on Friday at 5:30pm and on Saturday at 11:30am.
University of Wyoming Basketball: The University of Wyoming Cowboys are back in action today as the team plays at Boise State.
Tip off is scheduled for 7pm and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
One Cowboy recently received weekly conference honors.
Redshirt freshman Abou Magassa from France, was named the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Week.
Last week he scored 10 points in the loss against New Mexico and was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field.
Denver Broncos Opponents For 2025: The season is over for the Denver Broncos, and the team already knows which teams they will face next season and where, but do not know when and in what order.
Schedules are determined on where each team finishes in their division at the end of the regular season, and it doesn’t matter if they made the playoffs or not.
Each season teams rotate on which division within the AFC and NFC they will play besides their own, and they will also play which teams finished in the same place as they did.
The past season Denver and the AFC West played all teams within the AFC North and NFC South.
Next season, it’s the AFC South and the NFC East.
The Broncos will play the 9-home, 8-away schedule.
As usual, the team will play Kansas City, Las Vegas and the LA Chargers twice.
Other home games include Jacksonville, Tennessee, the New York Giants and Dallas.
In return Denver will travel to Houston, Indianapolis, Washington and Philadelphia.
Since the Broncos finished 3rd in the AFC West, they will play the other 3rd place AFC teams that are not in the South, hence the team will play at home vs. Cincinnati and travel to take on the New York Jets.
One more team to mention, is that Denver will host the 3rd place team out of the NFC North, therefore Green Bay wlll visit the Mile High City.
The full schedule including dates are normally announced sometime in early May.
