Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers are still chasing the #4 seed for the upcoming AA State Tournament, and the team could have a say as to which teams are seeds 1 thru 3.
The team plays a double-header today at Gillette, starting at 5pm.
The Roughriders are currently in 1st place with 2 losses, while Casper and Cheyenne Post 6 are both one game behind, and don’t play anymore conference games.

Head Coach Austin Cowen says now that Sheridan is healthy, the team is starting to play ball the way he wants them too, and the current 9-game win streak is a reflection of that.
The Troopers will conclude the conference portion of their schedule on Sunday with a double-header at Rock Springs.
Major League Baseball: The National League had a 6-nothing lead after 6 innings last night, in the All-Star game in Atlanta.
The American League came back to tie the score at 6 after 9 innings, so for the first time ever, the game was decided in a swing off, or a mini home run derby, so to speak.
Both teams selected 3 players each to take 3 swings.
The NL needed to only use 2 of their 3 players to beat the AL 4-3.
All players will take today and tomorrow off, and then the season will resume on Friday.
The Colorado Rockies will start a 6-game homestand with 3 games vs. Minnesota, followed by 3 games vs. St. Louis.
