Last week the Sheridan girls surprised many teams by winning the East Regional Meet.

Head Coach Marcie Lane says the team has some wrestlers back from injury and illness compared to one month ago, thus there was some strength in numbers, plus the girls are getting back to the basics.

The Lady Broncs are last year’s state runners-up.

On the boys side, Keegan Rager of Sheridan is attempting to repeat as a state champ, and is also trying to become a 4-time all-state placer, which goes to those who finish in either 1st or 2nd place in their respective weight class.

Braxten Crow of Sheridan is trying to put the finishing touches on an undefeated season.
