Sheridan HS Football: Sheridan kept Kelly Walsh off of the scoreboard until the 4th quarter, and had more than enough cushion room to win 34-15.

The Broncs will host Cheyenne Central in the semifinals this coming Friday at 6pm.
The Indians won at Natrona County 17-16 in overtime, on a blocked point after try.
The other 4A semifinal game is Cheyenne East at Campbell County.
Big Horn HS Football: Big Horn shutout Cokeville 31-zip in their first round 2A playoff game.

Up next for the Rams is a home-game vs. Thermopolis this coming Friday at 2pm.
The other semifinal game has Lovell visiting Mountain View.
Buffalo HS Football: The season for Buffalo came to an end as the team lost at Star Valley 54-7 in the first round of the 3A playoffs.
The Bison finish the season with a record of 3-and-6.
Sheridan/Johnson County HS Volleyball: Sheridan, Big Horn and Tongue River will compete at the State Tournament in Casper, beginning this coming Thursday.
At the 4A East Regional Tournament held at Thunder Basin, the Lady Broncs defeated Campbell County in the first round, lost against Thunder Basin in the semi-finals, then eliminated Cheyenne Central to qualify for the state tournament, and beat Cheyenne East to place 3rd.
Sheridan will play in the first round of the state tournament this coming Thursday vs. Green River, starting at 2:30pm.
BH hosted the 2A East Regional Tournament.
The Lady Rams had a first round bye and then defeated Pine Bluffs to qualify for the state tournament, but lost vs. Sundance in the regional championship game.
Big Horn will take the #2 seed out of the east to Casper and will play Thursday at 4:30pm against Rocky Mountain.
Tongue River won their first round regional tournament game vs. Moorcroft, then lost vs. Sundance in the semifinals.
The Eagles bounced back in the consolation round, by beating Wright to qualify for the state tournament, then won against Pine Bluffs to claim 3rd.
TR plays Thursday at 2:30pm vs. Big Piney.
As for Arvada-Clearmont and Buffalo, their seasons came to an end after both teams went 0-2 at their respective regional tournaments.

Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks won both home games this past weekend, defeating Bozeman 3-zip and Helena 4-1.
The team maintains their first place hold on the NA3HL’s Frontier Division and now have a 2-game lead.
The Hawks are home again this coming Friday and Saturday as the team hosts Great Falls in a 2-game series.
University of Wyoming Football: Not much went right for the Wyoming Cowboys as they lost 24-7 at San Diego State.
Quarterback Kaden Anderson was 12 of 24 passing for 93 yards, threw 3 interceptions and was sacked 3 times.
The lone score for the Pokes was on their opening drive of the game, as backup QB Landon Sims connected with Sam Scott for a 3 yard strike.
Kicker Erik Sandvik also did not have a good game as he missed 2 field goal tries.
All-in-all, UW only had 185 yards of total offense.
The Brown and Gold are now 4-5 on the season and have this week off from competition.
The next game is one week from this coming Saturday, on November 15th at Fresno State.
University of Wyoming Men’s and Women’s Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys start their regular season today at home vs. Northern State.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30pm and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
The Wyoming Cowgirls won their final exhibition game this past Friday at home vs. Colorado Christian 62-45.
The ladies start their regular season tomorrow at home vs. St. Mary’s.
Denver Broncos Football: The Denver Broncos have demonstrated this season that they know how to milk the drama.
The team got the ball with 50 seconds to go, and that was enough time to get Will Lutz into position to kick a 34 yard walk-off field goal, to give Denver an 18-15 win at Houston.
Quarterback Bo Nix was 18 of 37 passing for 173 yards, 2 touchdowns and threw 1 interception.
The TD tosses were to Courtland Sutton and RJ Harvey.
Denver’s defense would bend but not break, as the Texans had first and goal at the 1 in the first quarter and had to settle for 1 of their 5 field goals.
The Broncos have a quick turn around this week, as they play this coming Thursday at home vs. Las Vegas.
Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets lost this past Friday at Portland 109-107.
The Nuggets next play today at home vs. Sacramento.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.
Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche split weekend road games, winning on Friday at Las Vegas 4-2, but lost on Saturday at San Jose 3-2 in overtime.
The Avs next play tomorrow at home vs. Tampa Bay.
World Series Baseball 2025: The LA Dodgers pulled it off as the team won Game 6 and Game 7 at Toronto to repeat as champs.
Friday’s score in Game 6 was 3-1.
In Saturday’s Game 7, the Blue Jays had a 4-2 lead, but then Max Muncy hit a solo home run in the 8th, and Miguel Rojas knocked one out himself in the 9th to tie the score.
Will Smith would hit the eventual game winning solo shot in the top of the 11th to give LA a 5-4 win.
The Dodgers are the first team since the New York Yankees from 1998-2000, to repeat as World Series champs.
