Sheridan HS Football: The Sheridan High School Football team will make its longest road trip of the season today, as the bus will take them to Rock Springs.
The Tigers, who are 1-5, are a run heavy team thanks to Boston James who leads Class 4A in rushing yards so far this season.
RS also has the 3rd best defense in 4A.
Bronc Head Coach Jeff Mowry says like Kelly Walsh, Rock Springs runs a unique style of offense that’s hard to mimic in practice, but as long as players stick to their assignments, there shouldn’t be much to worry about.
Kickoff from Rock Springs is scheduled for 6pm.

Tongue River HS Football: Tongue River will visit Wheatland in a matchup of winless vs. winless.
The loser can say goodbye to the playoffs, while the winner still has a shot, but needs help down the road.

Kaycee visits Meeteetse for a 6-man game at 2pm.
Sheridan/Johnson County HS Volleyball: Sheridan starts their second run through the 4A East Conference today and tomorrow at home vs. Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central respectively.
Varsity start times are at 6pm and 12-noon.
Big Horn is at Moorcroft today, beginning at 12-noon.
Tongue River is in Douglas to play both Burns and Pine Bluffs, and then the Lady Eagles will visit Moorcroft tomorrow.
Arvada-Clearmont, as well as Kaycee, will play 4 games today at the 1-day Kaycee Invitational.
Buffalo won yesterday at home vs. Rawlins and are scheduled to play tomorrow at Torrington.
Cross Country: Buffalo ran yesterday at the Powell Invitational.
Ethan Rayo and Jace Townsend finished 2nd and 3rd individually for the boys who finished 2nd in the team standings.
Next week is the conference meets for all teams.
Sheridan/Buffalo HS Girls Swimming and Diving: Sheridan is scheduled to compete today at Cheyenne Central and tomorrow at Cheyenne East.
Buffalo is hosting their Pre-Invite today and the Buffalo Invitational is scheduled for tomorrow at the Johnson County YMCA.
Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks are home this weekend against 2 different opponents.
The team will take on Great Falls today and host Butte tomorrow.
The puck drops in both games at 7:30pm.
University of Wyoming Football: The Wyoming Cowboys are looking to snap their 3-game skid as the team hosts San Jose State.

Denver Broncos Football: The Denver Broncos play overseas this coming Sunday as the team will take on the New York Jets in London.

The Chicago Cubs evened up their series with Milwaukee, winning yesterday 6-zip.
That series is tied at 2.
The deciding Game 5 will be played tomorrow at Milwaukee.
In the American League, today is Game 5 between Detroit and Seattle.
The winner moves on to face Toronto in the AL Championship Series.
