In the saddle bronc riding, 7 of the top 14 in the world standings are scheduled to ride tonight.
By saying scheduled, that’s not a guarantee that they’ll be there.
Scheduled tonight is Sage Newman who is #3 in the world standings, Brody Cress of Hillsdale, Wyoming who is ranked #10, and 4-time world champion, and the current 2-time defending world champion, and Sheridan College alumnus Zeke Thurston.
Results will be posted at sheridanmedia.com as we get them.
Sheridan Troopers Baseball: The Sheridan Troopers won both ends of a double-header at home yesterday afternoon vs. Cody.
In Game 1, the team jumped out to a 5-zip lead in the first inning, then they blinked and found themselves trailing 15-7, before hanging up a 10-spot in the bottom of the 6th, to win 17-15.
Avon Barney and Lathe Brown each had 4 RBI’s.
In the second game, things settled down some and Sheridan would win comfortably 8-1.
Coach Austin Cowen says both the Troopers and Cody played 2 different games and he’s pleased with the way his team adjusted.
Video highlights of yesterday’s double-header will be posted later today.
Another home double-header is on the schedule tomorrow and this time it’s conference business, as the Cheyenne Hawks pay a visit.
First pitch is scheduled for 2pm.
