Sheridan Commission to Consider Resolution for Senior Citizen District
Coming at their regular meeting Tuesday, Sheridan County’s Commissioners will consider a Resolution favoring the establishment of a County Senior Citizen Service District and submitting a ballot proposition for its formation to the county clerk.
Also on the Agenda is consideration of the county Holiday courthouse closure schedule; the airport manager’s recommendation for proposals received for the lease of a hangar; Budget Amendment #1 for Fiscal Year 2026; a Cooperative Agreement for a Sub-Award of the 2025 Western States Wildland Urban Interface Grant between the county and the State Office of Lands & Investments, Forestry Division; the Clearwater Land & Minerals Rezone; the Big Horn Recreation Center CUP; and a request for a temporary permit for the Unified Taylor Quarry.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.

Yet another private entity trying to belly-up to the tax-payer supplied feeding trough and raise our taxes.
It’s unconstitutional and immoral.
No more!
We need tax Relief, not Tax Hikes!
No to commissioners just “voting it in” and if it is on the ballot, it should be rejected by voters suffering under sky-high prices and taxes.
Give us a tax Break and we’ll all vote for that!
