Johnson County 2026 Primary Election Results

Johnson County voters went to the polls Tuesday to participate in the State’s Primary Election.

Summarizing the local races in Johnson County, voters chose Marilyn Connolly over Mark Jones for Representative for House District 40.

For Mayor of Buffalo, incumbent Shane Schrader and Bob Hancock will move on to the General Election in November.

For City Council, incumbent Myra Camino and Craig Rucki will move on to the General Election.

For Johnson County Commission, incumbents Bill Novotny and Jeff Shelley will move on.

Shawn Sullivan will move on as County Coroner; Tucker Ruby for County Attorney; Adrian Keeler as Sheriff; Becky Rodriguez as County Clerk; Britnee Borgialli as Treasurer; Stephen Esponda as Assessor; and Paige Rhoads as Clerk of District Court.
