Celebrate 20 years of SCLT during the Annual Backyard BBQ

Presented by Eliason Financial and First Federal Bank & Trust, the annual Sheridan Community Land Trust Backyard BBQ will also celebrate the nonprofit’s 20th anniversary. 

SCLT has held an annual free BBQ for three years. This year the BBQ will also serve as the 20 year anniversary celebration and include two music acts, Tris Munsick and Trout Goggles.

While speaking with Floyd Whiting on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, SCLT Executive Director Brad Bauer shared how the popularity of the event in the first year affected his team and how they have taken steps to ensure it remains just as popular.

The annual SCLT Backyard BBQ will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 at the Big Goose Natural Area. SCLT is encouraging the public to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and an appetite. Pets are welcome and organizers encourage attendees to register in advance to help them determine how much food and drink will be needed.
