Fall Hunter Education Courses Will Open to Registration in Next Few Weeks
Hunter education courses are typically offered during the spring months. Instructors are volunteers who give their time and many enjoy hunting themselves. Spring allows them more time to organize and teach the critical curriculum. But Wyoming Game and Fish Department Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt announced on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse that the department will offer two hunter education opportunities in Sheridan this September for people preparing for upcoming hunting seasons.
Schmidt wished to give the public a heads-up on two classes that have not yet been posted on the Game and Fish website. The first, a traditional two-day, in-person hunter education class for women, will be offered in mid-September.

The second class is an internet completion course scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26 and will last approximately five hours.

Registration is expected to open within the next week or two. Class information and registration will be available through the education section of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department website. Click here.
