ValleyFest to feature Tongue River Valley Businesses: Registration Deadline Aug. 19
Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Teresa Detimore and Marketing and Communications Director Jodi Hartley appeared on Public Pulse to invite the public and Tongue River Valley businesses to the ValleyFest.
Hosted by the Chamber’s Tongue River Valley Business Committee in conjunction with Tongue River Brewing Company’s BBQ Cook-Off on Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29, in the Tongue River Valley, ValleyFest will showcase all the valley has to offer.
Free and open to the public, visitors will have the opportunity to view retail and information booths behind the Natural History Museum in Ranchester as well as participating businesses throughout Dayton and Ranchester. Booths will be open at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday Aug. 28 and continuing at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Aug. 29 in Ranchester. Please see business hours for other participating businesses.

Visitors can fill up their “Discover the Valley” Passport and enter to win prizes. The passports will be available at the Chamber tent behind the Natural History Museum or at any participating business. Visit businesses listed on the passport, have each business’s block marked by the business and then turn the passport in at the Chamber tent by 3 p.m. Saturday Aug. 29. Each business visited equals one entry into the drawing. Prize drawing will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
For businesses to participate, you must be located in the valley. Registration cost for Chamber members is $25, non-members are $35.
