The Annual Sheridan County Airport Open House Saturday
The Sheridan County Airport 13th Annual Open House, Fly-In and Air Show will take place on Saturday, August 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Sheridan County Airport, 908 W Brundage Ln.
This free, family-friendly event will kick off with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. After breakfast, attendees are welcome to explore vintage or restored aircraft up close; visit local vendor booths and see firefighting, maintenance, and search & rescue gear.
Community members can meet local pilots, law enforcement, and first responders. There will be displays of classic and vintage cars from Woody’s Wagens & Classic Cars and the KARZ Club.
Parking will be in the long-term lot or along Brundage Lane, then walk to the event entrance near the FedEx building or Red Wyoming AV8R hangar.
The four -act airshow will begin at 10, featuring Allen Cook – T-28 Warbird “RedFox”; Yuichi Takagi – Pitts Special S-2S; Nick Slabakov – Extra 330LX “Undaunted”; Stephen Christopher (RV-7) & Todd Rudberg (RV-8)
Mile High Air Boss is Bob Evans and announcer will be Jeremy Meyers

The event is open to all ages. Itis advised that you bring sunglasses, camp chairs, and dress comfortably for walking on concrete in the sun with camp chairs recommended for comfort. For the air show parents are advised to bring hearing protection for young children and infants.
