Tuesday’s Primary Election Results
Incumbent Laurie Bratten won over Susan Bigelow in Tuesday’s Republican primary for Wyoming House District 51. Bratten received 1837 votes as compared to Bigelow’s 1699 votes, with 8 write-ins. House District 51 represents portions of Sheridan County.
The Republican nomination for Wyoming House District 30 went to Ryan Koltiska, who received 1,632 votes, defeating Mark Jennings, whose vote total was 972, with 2 write-ins.
In the Senate District 21 Primary, Melissa Butcher defeated incumbent Ken Pendergraft by a wide margin in Tuesday’s primary election. Butcher received 3,361 votes, with Pendergraft receiving 2,391. There were 25 write-in votes.
With no Democratic candidate in the race, Bratten, Koltiska and Butcher will serve in the Wyoming House of Representatives following the November general election, unless a write-in candidate qualifies for the general election.

Freedom to voluntarily give money to needy seniors was replaced with forced-taxation.
Lower taxes are always better.

The ballot proposition to raise your property taxes got 85 more votes for the tax hike. That means that if half of those “yes” votes (43) were switched to “No” there would have been no tax increase.
85 is a razor thin margin. But it’s even worse.
Just 43 votes inflicted Higher Taxes on 15,000 property owners.
Yikes, talk about the few dictating to the many.
Anyone think we might want to verify that vote count with maybe a hand count check of a few precincts at least.
Or do we still believe the myth that 2020 was fair?
