Jo Co P&Z to Hold Public Meetings on Draft Land Use Plan

The Johnson County Planning & Zoning Commission will host two open house public meetings on the update to the Draft Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

The first open house will be Monday, August 24 in the Kaycee School Commons beginning at 5 p.m.

The second will be Thursday, August 27 at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center Band Room in Buffalo beginning at 5 p.m.

The open houses will give the public an opportunity to view the draft document and give comment and feedback.

According to County Planner Jim Waller, the Steering Committee has been working on the Comprehensive Plan for the past 20 months.

The County Commissioners will have the final action on the plan update.
