Connolly Moves to General Election for HD40 Seat

Republican Marilyn Connolly, currently the State Representative for House District 40, will move on to the November General Election as the Republican nominee for the seat in HD40, defeating Republican Mark Jones in Tuesday’s Primary Election.

In Johnson County, voters chose Connolly with 2,006 votes over Jones with 1,035 votes.

In Sheridan County, Connolly received 260 votes to 232 for Jones.

On the Democratic side there were 24 write-in votes in Johnson County with Sheridan County Democrats casting 3 write-in votes.
