Run or hike through the secluded Eaton’s Ranch during the Wolf Creek Wrangle
Infamous for the rough and rugged trail, The Wolf Creek Wrangle is a run for those seeking a challenge while also contributing to Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns.
On Sept. 18, people will be able to run, hike, or participate virtually in a 5k, 10k, or half marathon distance. Hosted at the renowned Eaton’s Ranch this run will challenge even the most experienced of distance runners with all proceeds going to benefit Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns.
Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns Executive Director Christine Dieterich.
Dieterich went on to say that should a rockslide occur the night before the run, it will not be moved. As part of the challenge of the run, finding their way around, over, under or through obstacles is all part of the fun.
The race is cupless. Organizers ask to please ensure that participants bring some sort of water vessel with them. Staff will be making sure that all racers have a vessel before the race begins.
Aide stations will only have water on location, no nutrition. If participants require nutrition while racing, please bring some from home. The top three males and females in each event will receive prizes.
Parking is limited on the Eaton’s Ranch, organizers are asking participants to please carpool.
