We need Sheridan’County represented at the Wyoming County Commissioners Association. The enraged taxpayer anarchists aren’t really doing anything than using up bytes and ink for the community.

Maybe so. But at least we use our own ink and bytes. We don’t try to put the taxpayer on the hook for re-imbursement or lobby for higher taxes!
BTW anarchy is, by definition, the rule of No one. Each man rules over himself and avoids infringing on the equal freedom and rights of others.
Like it was in America for the first 150 years.

The fact remains that the commissioner was travelling on the taxpayers dime to testify on the “adverse effects” of keeping the gas tax at current levels. He was, in effect, advocating for an increase in the gas tax.
He used taxpayer money to try to get more (gas) tax-payer money.
Better he should reduce the illegal give-aways to non-profits and become a better manager of our money.
The era of high-taxing, big-spending liberals in office (running “as” Republicans) is coming to an end.

I assume our citizen legislators are still being reimbursed for travel expenses to regular session and special committee meetings. Looks to me like Sheridan County is lucky to have representation at the state association level with Mr. Siddle. It also sounds like he was pragmatic in his statements regarding the current tax climate, so provided solid guidance. Most organizations reimburse their members for job related expenses and this seems like it was legitimate.

The “old guard” of high-taxing, big-spending liberal commissioners, deserve to be called out when they get paid by tax dollars to advocate for more tax dollars.
Commissioner Siddle drove an expensive gas-guzzler to Casper to advocate for an increase in the gas tax.
Taxpayers bought the 80K Jeep. Paid for his time and expenses. All so he could lobby for us to pay a higher gas tax. Anyone not seeing this as WRONG is blind to gov’t abuse.
The vast majority of Sheridan citizens know the truth: Lower Taxes Are Always Better.

To my understanding Mr. Siddle wasn’t paid for the trip. He viewed it as part of his duty as a county commissioner. Mr. Fox may disagree with a gas tax increase as a benefit to the county, but there’s no doubt it was a functional use of county resources. If Mr. Fox feels strongly enough about it he can run for commission as he has done in the past.

As a salaried employee of the county gov’t, he was, in fact, paid to go to Casper. He drove an expensive, gas-guzzling, county vehicle, at taxpayer expense, to lobby for higher taxes.
That is clearly using tax money to try to get more tax money.
That’s the very definition of WRONG!
Better he should reduce the give-a-ways to Private entities, plow our roads and become a better manager of tax-payer funds.
There’s no doubt it was a betrayal of Sheridan County citizens, who trusted him to obey his oath of office.
But then he’s done that before, when he failed to follow the law on filling a vacancy on the board.
    Lawlessness is not forgotten.

Sheridan already has the highest gas prices around the area thanks to greed and price gouging when others are 50 to 60 cents lower. Yesterday 12.19.25x Casper was $2.02. Kaycee was $2.30 for example. Buffalo $2.41. Sheridan $2.55- why?

Sounds like gaslighting. Who is he speaking down upon?
