Sheridan Commission Approves DOH Grant Agreement
At a recent meeting, Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered a Community Prevention Grant Agreement between the county and the Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division.
According to County Administrative Director Cameron Duff, the agreement is for two years, beginning July 1, 2026 and ending on June 30, 2028.
According to the agreement, the purpose is to fund activities designed to prevent the use, misuse, or abuse of tobacco, alcohol, or controlled substances; and activities designed to prevent suicide through the Community Prevention Grant Program.
The amount in the agreement is not-to-exceed $401,798.
The commission voted to approve and accept the agreement.
