Many players of many ages may have that dream of playing with the pros, and learning from a pro can provide a new perspective on some aspects of the game.

Buffalo High School grad, as well as former University of Wyoming and NFL player Chris Prosinski was on hand, at a 1-day football camp at the Buffalo High School Auxiliary Fields.

The camp was designed for those in grades one through eight, and a number of Buffalo High School football players were on hand to help out.

Prosinski says sometimes it takes more than just the coach to teach the lesson.

“Sometimes when they get out, coached by some of the high school kids that they look up to, some younger kids, but still kind of their idols, they can respond a lot better. I grew up here obviously in Buffalo, and some of my first memories were doing camps like this and learning from the high school kids and it’s really where I set the foundation for a lot of my football career. It’s just learning how to catch a ball, how to throw a ball, how to shed a block, how to make a tackle, but if they can pick up a skill or 2, especially at this age, just continue to build on it, hopefully the next few years, that can go a long way.”

Prosinski graduated from Buffalo HS in 2006 and helped the Bison win 2 football state championships.
