Matt Brown opens season with victory

Matt Brown of Casper was the first feature winner at the Sheridan Speedway season opener Sunday, May 3, 2026. He led from start to finish for the 15 laps in his Rocky Mountain Hardtops coupe. He also collected a clean sweep by winning his heat race after starting second.

Brown has raced a variety of classes in his career but noted he enjoys this class.

The Sheridan Speedway races start at 6:30 p.m. every Sunday except for special shows.
