Sheridan County Urges Caution on Red Grade Road

Those using Red Grade Road in the coming weeks are advised to use extra caution as timber haul trucks will be using the road as well.

According to a release from the county, a private timber contractor will be using County Road #26 (Red Grade Road) to haul logs off the Bighorn National Forest over the next several weeks.

Timber haul trucks will be descending in the early mornings Monday through Friday.

Warning signs and a pilot vehicle will be utilized for advance warning.

Drivers are advised to use extra caution while traveling Red Grade Road during the timber hauling.

    The front of a log truck would be a perfect fit for the users of red grade road who think it’s there own race track up and down the mountain.
