Sheridan Commission OKs NOI for Resolution for Federal Forest Reserve and Rural School Reserve Funds

Sheridan County’s Commissioners recently considered publishing a Notice of Intent (NOI) to adopt a Resolution for Federal Forest Reserve and Secure Rural School Funds.

County Treasurer Katie Araas explained.

Written comments regarding the proposed resolution may be submitted to the BOCC at 224 S. Main Street. Suite 201 in Sheridan or by email at karaas@sheridan countywy.gov, on or before May 22, 2026.

A public hearing to receive oral comments will be held on June 2 at 9 a.m.

The board will consider adoption of the proposed resolution at its regular meeting on June 2.
