County Commission Considers Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement with USFS

The Sheridan County Commission at their regular business meeting Tuesday approved an amended Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement with the U.S. Forest Service – Bighorn National Forest Service. Prior to approval, Sheridan County Sheriff Levi Dominguez provided details of the annual agreement.

The amended agreement approved by the Commission stipulates that the Forest Service will reimburse the county at $40 per hour as well as $25 an hour for an additional enforcement officer as a passenger for up to a total of not more than $10,200 for the services.
