Sheridan College Announces Music on the Mall Lineup for July 5

Sheridan College has announced the lineup for this summer’s Music on the Mall. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more.

Music on the Mall is a free, family-friendly event that will take place under the big tent in the Whitney Mall on the campus of Sheridan College Sunday July 5 from 2 to 8 pm. According to information from Sheridan College,  the event will kick-off with the folk stylings of Sheridan’s own Doug Andrews, followed by Montana-based Americana songstress Abby Webster and Her Imaginary Band. Next, will be Knoxville, Tennessee’s Cruz Contreras and The Black Lillies. The evening will culminate with a headlining performance by Nashville-based Sweet Megg, a jazz-trained vocalist who combines her love of jazz with fun, catchy Americana songwriting.

In addition to the music, there will be arts and crafts vendors and food trucks on site. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Arts ‘n crafts vendors can submit now for space at the event by visiting the Music on the Mall webpage.
