Sheridan Landfill Building Project

A bid award for a project at the City of Sheridan Landfill was one of the agenda items at the recent business meeting of the Sheridan City Council. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

In order to complete the remediation project at the City Landfill, the administration and maintenance facility had to be demolished. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts said a new administration and maintenance facility that is more functional and located in a more effective location, was planned, designed, and prepared for bidding. Roberts said the City received two bids for the project.

Following Robert’s presentation, the City Council awarded the bid for the Landfill Building project to Axe Build in the amount of $3,016,909.
