Attorney General Seeks Meeting on JCSD1 Board Reduction

During their recent school board meeting, JCSD1 Superintendent Charles Auzqui updated them on the latest information on the board’s request to the state to reduce the number of trustees from nine to seven.

Auzqui said the State Attorney General has now requested a meeting concerning the possibility.

The April 30 meeting is scheduled for Riverton with the State Board of Education, that Auzqui originally thought would be a simple review and approval until the Attorney General’s office asked for the executive session.
