An Emergency Operations Plan for Sheridan County was an item of consideration under new business at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council meeting. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more.
Sheridan County Emergency Management Coordinator Jessie Ludikhuize presented the City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger with the updated Sheridan County Emergency Operations Plan during the Council’s business meeting.
Ludikhuize describes how the plan differs from the updated plan that was adopted in 2022.
Following the presentation from Ludikhuize the City Council voted in favor of adopting the updated Sheridan County Emergency Operations Plan on a vote of 5 to 1. Councilman Andy Patceg was the lone no vote. Councilman Steve Brantz was not present at the meeting. Ludikhuize said the plan has already been adopted by the Sheridan County Commissioners and will be adopted by all of the municipalities within Sheridan County.
