Tenth Annual Spring 14/16 Shop Hop to be Held
The Highway 14/16 Shop Hop is 10 years old this year. It was started in 2016, when Peggy Roadifer of Windrose Pottery had an open house to display and sell her pottery. As a way to increase traffic to her business and give area crafters and small businesses a way to market their wares, Riesland Rustics, Stacy Ellenwood Photography and Turned Antiques opted in to the open house as well.
Through the years, the Shop Hop has grown into a twice-yearly event, a spring one being held the first weekend in May and a fall event the first weekend in November.

This year, the Clearmont Shop Hop will be held on May 1 and 2. Many vendors will be set up in the Clear Creek Recreation District, displaying clothing, jewelry, rocks, baked goods, canned goods and much more. There will be several more vendors throughout the town and along Highway 14/16, including Vintiques of Wyoming, Rieslands Rustics and Hallies Gals.
The Clearmont Library will be open, and everyone is invited to come and see their remodel.
Lunch will be served at the Community Church by the Mill Iron Market, coming soon to Clearmont. There will be different sandwiches and sides, as well as desserts from the Clearmont Women’s Club. Come and see what the Market is offering.

A popular addition to the Shop Hop are the workshops. Held on Saturday, at 1 p.m, Best in Bloom in Buffalo will again offer Spring Bouquet classes. Cost is $45 per person, and space is limited. Call Bailey at 307-763-0510 to reserve your space.
There will also be a workshop on Saturday at 10 a.m. for youngsters ages 3-10 to make Mother’s Day gifts. Space is limited, so call Olivia at 810-813-2273 for more information and to sign up for the workshop.
Everyone is invited to come to the shop hop and see what area residents have to offer to the community.
