SOS Gray Expresses Disappointment in Senate Not Approving House Bill 85
The Wyoming Senate killed a post-audit election bill Thursday by a vote of 9 to 21. Senator Bo Biteman voted in favor of House Bill 85, while Senator Barry Crago was one of the 21 who voted against the bill. Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray expressed his disappointment in the Senate’s vote.
House Bill 85 is the second election reform bill that failed to pass this week, as House Bill 86, which would have given the Secretary of State authorization to file formal complaints seeking the removal of county clerks, did not make it out of the Senate Corporations Committee on Monday.
