Raw Water Service Agreement
Mullinax, Inc. is requesting access to a City of Sheridan 30-inch raw water transmission line for dust control and dust mitigation at a gravel mining operation located west of the City. During Monday night’s City Council study session, City Utilities Director Dan Roberts said staff has put together an agreement that would allow Mullinax to access the raw water line and that Mullinax would incur all of the costs of tapping into the line along with long term maintenance.
The proposed agreement stipulates that water use be limited to non-potable purposes, must be metered, and will be billed at 87 cents per 1,000 gallons. The raw water service agreement with Mullinax will come before the City Council at an upcoming business meeting.
