Margaret Ann Lingelbach Williamson, of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 69. She was born on June 2, 1957, in Billings, Montana, to Peggy and Harold Lingelbach.

Margaret was one of a kind. She was stubborn, sassy, and strong-willed, with a personality that filled every room she walked into. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind, and those who knew her understood that what you saw was what you got. Beneath her tough exterior was a kind heart and a sharp sense of humor that made her unforgettable. She formed lasting friendships throughout her life, and those lucky enough to know her were often drawn to her humor, her strong spirit, and the unmistakable spark that made her uniquely Margaret.

Throughout her life, Margaret worked in a variety of roles, including as a bartender and a
cashier at Walgreens. Of all the jobs she held throughout her life, the one she spoke of most fondly was serving as the Activities Director at Sheridan Manor. She loved bringing joy to the residents, organizing activities, and creating moments that made people smile. It was more than just a job to her; it was a place where she could share her personality, connect with others, and make a difference in the lives of those around her.

Margaret loved the open road on motorcycle rides, spending time with her close friends, and enjoying life’s simple moments. She valued laughter, good company, and the friendships she built over the years.

Margaret is preceded in death by her father, Harold Lingelbach. She is survived by her mother, Peggy Lingelbach; her sister, Linda Lingelbach; her brothers, Tim (Mary) Lingelbach and Dean Lingelbach; her greatest joy, her sons, Joe (Amy) Williamson and Josh (Avery) Williamson; her adored granddaughters, Delaney, Joslyn, and Brooklynn; her treasured great-grandson, Ziggy; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Like every life, Margaret’s journey had its joys and its challenges. She leaves behind a
lifetime of memories, laughter, and stories that will continue to be shared by her family and friends for years to come.

In leu of flowers, the family invites those who knew Margaret to honor her memory in a way that would make her smile: take a motorcycle ride, raise a glass with good friends, share a favorite story, or simply spend time with the people who matter most.

No services are planned at this time. Margaret’s family finds comfort in knowing she will be remembered with love by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Online condolences may be made to www.sheridanfuneral.com
