Aiden Fairbanks

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Aiden Alan Fairbanks, age 10, on July 6, 2026 from an accidental traumatic brain injury. Prior to his passing, Aiden made the ultimate sacrifice, and donated 4 vital organs to kiddos desperately needing them, as well as countless others who will receive tissues and other organ donations. Aiden’s gift of life to others brings some peace to the pain his family feels with his absence.

Aiden, or Aidey as his family called him, was born on August 8th in Sheridan Wyoming. Aiden brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him. He had a bright smile, a kind heart, and a curious spirit, and incredible imagination that made every day a little better.

Aiden was an adventurous boy, spending most of his time riding his dirt bike or go-cart around his family’s land and the state land close by. If he wasn’t playing outside, he enjoyed building master pieces with legos, playing with nerf guns, and spending time with his family. His laughter, humor, and caring nature will be remembered always.

He was a beloved son of Anthony and Malinda, cherished brother of Ashlynn, and treasured grandson, nephew, cousin, classmate, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Raymond Walsh and great grandparents.

Though his time with us was far too short, Aiden’s life touched countless hearts. His love, kindness, and joyful spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at his grandparents land, 37 High View Rd, Sheridan Wyoming. Family and friends are warmly invited to come and go as available to celebrate Aiden’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial account at First Northern Bank in Aiden’s name. Donations received will be used to enhance experiences at 3 Poles Recreation Area, a place Aiden loved to ride his dirt bike. Additional funds will be used to support the Ronald McDonald House and Luther’s Lodge in Billings Montana. Both locations provided tremendous support and resources to Aiden’s family during his hospital stay. Those wishing to honor Aiden can also perform an act of kindness in his memory.
