John Jerry Rocovits
John Jerry Rocovits, 83, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Westview Health Care Center in Sheridan, WY, surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was born in Canton, Ohio, raised in Pasadena, CA, prior to moving to Sheridan in 1973. He operated two electronic repair shops, Jerry’s T.V. and Blevin’s Electronics, for many years in Sheridan. He was active with the Elks in prior years and spent time working at the 1st Christian Church Thrift Store. He also spent a lot of time visiting friends in nursing homes and taking people to doctor appointments. He enjoyed stamp collecting, a computer hobbyist and playing the drums and singing. He loved to build and repair things, and feeding birds.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Rocovits. He is survived by his son; Jerry (Trish) Rocovits of Sheridan, WY, his daughter; Tina (Troy) Schlie of Kansas City, MO., four grandchildren; Brock Rocovits and Tiffany Klussman both of Green River, WY, Christen Schlie of Brooklyn, NY, Victoria Dalton of Sugarcreek, MO., and great-grandchildren Olivia Rocovits, Emma Rocovits, Hailey Klussman, and Lexi Klussman.
A private Inurnment will be held at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, WY, with family, where Jerry will be laid to rest next to Linda. Online condolences may be made to www.sheridanfuneral.com. Arrangements are under the care of Sheridan Funeral Home.
