Charlie Fahlgren

A memorial gathering for Charlie Fahlgren will be held at the Padlock Ranch Conference room from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. August 29th.

Charlie courageously lost his lengthy battle with cancer on June 15th, 2026 with his wife Gwen and brother Jon, at his side.

Charlie grew up on the Padlock and went on to work on the ranch for many years. He was the son of Claude Fahlgren and Virginia (Darrel) RathKamp. His brother was Jon (Sandi) Wilkenson and sisters Kitty (Tom) Brown and Mickey (deceased). Todd (Cindy), Kurt, and Lisa RathKamp were also Charlie’s siblings. He had numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by grandchildren Caden, Hailey, Aurora, Cole, Bailey, Madley, Ryder, Ren, Rhett, and Rally. Charlie’s children are David (Sara) Cooley, Jessie (Taylor) Fox, and Scott Fahlgren. Step children Rob (Kara) Young and Hunter Young.  We hope you can join us to celebrate Charlie’s life.
