Sandra “Sandy” Everson

Sandy Everson, 78, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, in the arms of her husband.

Sandy is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Everson, and her beloved children: Dee Crawford of Sheridan, WY; Jamie Lindemann and husband Cole Lindemann of Anchorage, AK; Shannon Johnson and husband Laurence Johnson of Charlotte, NC; and Travis Clayton and wife Anna Clayton of Billings, MT. She is also survived by Granddaughter, Tessa Kula and husband AJ Kula, and great-granddaughter, Arabella of Sheridan, WY; by her mother, Eleanor Cantrell; and brother, Terry Cantrell of Riverton, WY. She was preceded in death by her daughter Brandi Crawford and father, Jay Cantrell.

Born in Riverton, WY on June 20, 1948, Sandy lived a life filled with faith, kindness, and purpose. She graduated from Shoshoni High School in 1966 and pursued her early dreams at modeling school in Denver, CO. However, it was her calling to serve others that led her to dental hygiene school in Sheridan, WY, where she graduated in 1973. For over 20 years, Sandy cared for her dental hygiene patients with compassion and dedication. Later, she extended her warmth and hospitality by creating a welcoming service that touched many lives for over 15 years.

She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1967, which has been such an important part of her life. She held many callings over her 59 years of service in the church. The church and her callings were truly important to her. She made so many life-long friends and created memories that she will always carry with her.

In 1996, Sandy met the love of her life, Bob, and they were married on July 5, 1997. Together, they moved to Banner in 2010, where they embraced a life of peace and joy, grounded in their shared faith. They enjoyed owning a business together, traveling, playing games and cards, and just each other’s company.

Sandy’s positive spirit was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her unwavering faith, gentle heart, and generous soul left an indelible mark on her family and community. Though she has passed from this earthly life, her spirit now rests in eternal peace, embraced by the love of the Divine.

A full remembrance of Sandy’s life, the things she loved, and the legacy she leaves behind will be shared on August 19, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The viewing will be at 10am, with services at 11am, and a reception will follow. The internment will be held in Sturgis, South Dakota at the Sturgis National Cemetery at 11am on August 20, 2026.
