Sheridan Man Enters Plea on Voyeurism Charge

A 40-year-old Sheridan man was arraigned in Fourth Judicial District Court Thursday. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Felony Voyeurism

Kenneth Matteson entered a “not guilty” plea to the charge of Felony Voyeurism. Matteson was arrested and charged with the crime  on September 1 for allegedly placing a video camera in the bathroom of the business where he worked in Sheridan. Fourth Judicial District Court Judge John Fenn set the #3 stack jury trial for February 22 through the 24. The #3 stack means that there are two other trials scheduled for the same dates. The pretrial conference was scheduled for January 21 at 10 am.

Judge Fenn continued the bond under the same terms and conditions previously set in Circuit Court, which includes a no contact order with the victim in the case. The crime of Felony Voyeurism is punishable by up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.
