Sheridan Commission Adopts Wildland Fire Management Plan

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered adopting the 2026 Annual Wildland Fire Management Operation Plan during their last regular meeting.

County Fire Warden Chris Thomas discussed the plan with the commission.

According to the document, the agreement covers lands in Sheridan, Johnson, and Campbell Counties.

The commission voted to approve the Wildland Fire Management Plan for 2026.
