Buffalo Council OK’s Longmire Days Requests

Buffalo’s City Council approved various requests for the upcoming Longmire Days celebration later this month.

Jennifer McCormick, with the Longmire Days Foundation, spoke to the council about their needs for the events.

The council approved the requests for Longmire Days, which will be happening July 16-19 in Buffalo.

List of requests for Longmire Days 2026:

Parade Request – July 18 from 9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. – Main Street from Fort Street to Angus St and Angus St from Main St to Western Ave.

A Designated Open Container Area – July 17 to 19 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. – Downtown Buffalo.

A Street Closure for the 5K Run/3K Walk – July 17 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Angus Street from Western Ave nueto Burritt Avenue.

A Street Closure for the Street Dance – July 18 from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Main Street from Angus Street to Fort Street.

Street Closure for Food Vendors – July 17 from 7 a.m. through Jul 19 @ 6 p.m. – East Fetterman Street to Lobban Avenue.
