It was a joy to be at a real debate. Mr. Iverson did a fantastic job of moderating and asked the important questions on people’s minds.
And technically, there is only one “Open” seat, caused by the retirement of one commissioner. The other two seats are currently “occupied” by sitting commissioners.
One seeking her first four-yr. term and the other commissioner seeking her third term.
An “open” seat is a currently un-“occupied” seat.
We need more debate-type formats, so people can really hear what candidate positions are, instead of how many boards they sit on.
Also nice to have questions that were shorter than the time-allotted to answer.
