Buffalo Mayor Announces Meetings for July

During the last regular City Council meeting in June, Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader announced closures to recognize Independence Day.

Shrader also announced meetings for July would include the Department Head Meeting on July 7 at 7 a.m.; the City/County Meeting on July 21 at 7 a.m.; and City Council Meetings for the month would be on July 7 and July 21 at 5 p.m.

The council also approved a written request for a street closure on Burritt Avenue next to Prosinski Park during summer baseball games to allow children to cross safely when retrieving foul balls.

They directed Police Chief Sean Bissett to close the street during baseball games with Angus and Fetterman Streets remaining open.
