Dementia Friendly Wyoming

Dementia Friendly Wyoming, through the Hub on Smith,  was one of 15 nonprofits that received funding from the Sheridan-Johnson Counties Local Board of the Wyoming Community Foundation as part of their spring competitive grant cycle. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more.

Dementia Friendly Wyoming began in 2016 after a group of community members secured a federal grant through the Administration Through Community Living. Dementia Friendly Wyoming Director Heather Comstock.

Comstock said the original grant ended in June of 2021 and she is now the last remaining dedicated staff member for Dementia Friendly Wyoming
