July STEAM Camp – Cars, Robots and Rockets
The Phorge Makerspace is preparing to host a hands-on educational camp in July designed to engage young learners in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
The Sheridan-based nonprofit will offer a STEAM camp providing participants with opportunities to explore creativity, problem-solving and practical skills through interactive projects.
Executive Director Penny Waller said the camp is intended to give students real-world, hands-on learning experiences in a collaborative environment.

Phorge Makerspace recently held the first STEAM Camp for the summer and Waller said learning science and mathematics are fun subjects for kids to learn when they can utilize the lessons to create cars, robots and rockets. Phorge Makerspace will hold another STEAM Camp July 27-30.
