Governor Addresses Recent Correspondence at News Conference
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon held a media briefing Wednesday to discuss the recently announced budget cuts and to provide an update on the COVID-19 pandemic. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
While discussing the recent numbers, in particular the 22 COVID-19 related deaths in the state, the Governor talked about recent correspondence he has received.
Governor Gordon also addressed the extension through the end of the month of the current public health orders.
Gordon said that in the last month Wyoming has seen 700 new cases of COVID-19 and that the number of hospitalizations are continuing to rise.
We’ll have more from the Governor’s news conference for you in future stories.

governor gordon mentions “china or any other country that may have adverse desires…” i understand that logic and it is logical to be ready for any scenario like the governor mentions but what also needs to be considered is that given the population density in parts of the world and substandard public health guards and practices in those countries that some type of more destructive and an even more contagious event could occur in the future…covid19 should serve as a wake up call for us all…well stated and addressed governor gordon
