Compass Center for Families Receives Generous Match From Watt Foundation for WyoGives
Compass Center for Families is inviting the community to support its mission during WYO Gives, Wyoming’s statewide day of charitable giving taking place July 15.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director Tifany Resser said the mission of partnering to build strong communities by strengthening families is accomplished through four programs that are continuing to gain more clients each year.

An old proverb says “it takes a village to raise a child.” Resser said it takes the Sheridan and Johnson County communities to continue the work at Compass through generosity and volunteers.

The annual online WyoGives fundraiser helps nonprofits across the state raise money for programs and services that strengthen their communities. Resser also announced a generous matching gift from The Joe and Arlene Watt Foundation, allowing donations made during WyoGives to have an even greater impact.
Funds raised will help Compass to continue to support these programs that provide families with consistent support, education and growth.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, July 15 WyoGives allows residents from all over the Cowboy State to participate by making an online donation during the one-day event and help to fund causes they hold dear.
