CHAPS Tournament of Knights July 25 

Transport you and your family to a medieval age as CHAPS Equine Assisted Services presents its annual Tournament of Knights on Saturday, July 25, at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds, combining medieval entertainment with fundraising to support CHAPS’ many equine-assisted therapy programs. 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, CHAPS Equine Assisted Services Executive Director Kristen Marcus said the family-friendly event will feature full-contact jousting by the Knights of Valour; real modern knights engaged in real jousting.

The Tournament of Knights will also include events for all ages; combat demonstrations, a medieval marketplace, games, food vendors and activities throughout the day.

Guests can also attend the Queen’s Feast with medieval-inspired dining and entertainment through special ticket packages. 

Proceeds support CHAPS’ mission of providing equine-assisted services for youth, adults, veterans and seniors, including scholarships for participants who qualify.

Advance tickets are available online, with discounts offered for children and military members, while additional admission options will be available at the gate at an increased rate. Click here for tickets.
