City of Buffalo Hires New Building Inspector

The City of Buffalo has hired a new Planner/Building Inspector that will be starting early next month, according to Mayor Shane Schrader.

Mayor Schrader tells us more.

The position has been open since former planner/building inspector Terry Asay announced his decision to leave in late 2025, to take a similar position elsewhere.

Schrader declined to name the new Planner/Building Inspector, saying he will officially be introduced at the August 4 City Council meeting.
